    $14K per year sounds about right here in the US, and that is what they are protesting. Current rates are about 1/3 of that, or around $3.5 PER YEAR. My college (at IUPUI) was over $5K/year 20 YEARS AGO. Not sure of the rates now, but I'm sure they didn't go down.

    We couldn't afford to send our Daughter to IU so she got her own loans and worked her way through.
    (She's my hero!!)
    She has a great job and will have her loans paid off shortly.
    Why the Hell can't others do that??

    All universities in the UK are state run, from what I heard this morning, they are protesting the auserity movement currently taking place in the UK
