    A holler in Kentucky
I used something similar when I built my room addition, I think it was in a 6” wide roll. I bought it at lowes or Home Depot, don’t remember which. All of those types of products are a good line of defense if they, and the rest of the surrounding areas are installed and sealed properly.

I used new construction windows on my addition, which are pretty water resistant to begin because of the nailing fin around the perimeter, but since I had the water proof tape already, I went all the way around the windows with it, as an extra layer of protection.

All in all, I don’t know that one particular brand is that much better than the next, but if the stretch tape installs well, and seals good to whatever you’re putting it on, It’s likely at least as good.
