    Very cool link. I read the article. When I have more time I will have to read the full study. I thought it was interesting this study didn't include instances of contact distance engagements with an operable projectile weapon. I wonder if these were intentionally excluded or if there were not enough samples to draw conclusions. Perhaps the full text of the study will enlighten me.

    Definitely need to read the whole study but there were a couple of things that jumped out at me right away. First, I found it striking, how high the percentage of the fights that involved grappling was. Second, the part about many of the fights starting over a 5 year old trying to take the weapon of the open carrier or partially exposed weapon of the concealed carrier.
