    Buddy wants info on this SKS he inherited, I can’t tell if it’s Russian or Yugoslavian, any help is appreciated!

    Took an overall shot as well as a close up of the only markings I could find.

    Definitely not Yugo. Appears Russian but yeah, need more photos. You might need to take off the stock to look for more proof marks, and/or closely check the stock itself. The Izhevsk arsenal used an arrow in a triangle proof mark vs. the far more common star for Tula SKSs, but both were clearly stamped (Izzy SKSs are exceedingly rare). Do all the serial numbers match?

    ETA - not having the original box mag hurts the overall value, FYI.
