Should I or Shouldn't I

I've got a Remington 541T that I was thinking about putting a suppressor on, but I"m not sure if I really want to have the barrel threaded. I purchased the rifle 40 years ago and maybe I should just leave it and look at buying a new .22 like a CZ already threaded. Any opinions on whether to leave the rifle untouched or go for it.

I’ll further echo the sentiment outlined above, do not thread it! There’s plenty of readily available non-unique threaded 22s to be had.

I looked into threading my 77/22. For about $75 more I could just buy a savage bolt gun and move on with life.

CZ457 American synthetic suppressor ready. But if you want to get it threaded that CZ Varmint would be pretty tough.

The Savage Mark II FV-SR is awesome. Don't mess with the Remington. The Savage is cheap enough to keep the Rem intact.
