Welcome to Marlinboy. I just got done with the Googe-Fu, it does exist! Not sure where you'd find 9mm rimfire shotgun shells but that sounds like a safe-queen to me.

Good bunch of folks here on a very active forum. Find your way to the introductions part of the forum and say hello officially. I've heard there is a FAQs area and rules, I think that's a myth.

Made it to the range and got acquainted- Cheap laser on the forward rail was accurate enough to keep slugs and patterns of 00 on the center-line of the 'vitals dude' target for some surefire bad-guy stopping power.

It will take some getting used to , considering i've only shot about 3 rounds of 12 ga before in my life. (and that was nearly 30 yrs ago)

Edit: Thanks to American Shooters in Clarksville- 00 buck and slugs only, but It gave me that much needed Get-to-know-me time with my new acqusition.

Here's my Beretta 1301 in it's current configuration. I'll likely add the Airidus adapter and Magpul SGA stock before too long. Still hoping I can find a good 50yd load to use on turkeys. If I can the stock forend and pictured Urbino stock will be shipped out for a camo dip.

Just picked up this Mossberg 835 in mossy oak at a pawn shop for $160...I kinda feel like I stole it .

This is my Mossberg 590 shockwave. As you can see it has been braced with the sbm4 brace, vltor buffer tube, Odin works brace collar, us machine gun folding mech, ergo grip, mesa tactical ar stock/grip adapter, modified 590 magpul forend, magpul handstop, streamlight protac hlx 1000 lumen light with a cloud defensive aluminium tape switch mount with momentary and constant on.
I still have more to do to this build: Getting a mesa tactical 4 shell carrier side saddle and then a 2 forward shell carrier from asgard defense to mount on the forend for speed reloading and a total of 6 shells outside the weapon and 6 shells inside the weapon. Will be getting a holosun green dot sight for rifled slugs at range, a Mossberg top 1913 rail, an xs big dot front bead, and a magpul ms4 sling. I am replacing the plastic trigger housing with the factory 590 a1 metal trigger housing as well. Pretty much the best set up I can imagine for myself as a home defense/ general purpose tactical shotgun. The 14.5 inch barrel is perfect for close quarters the folding brace is great for storage and the power of the 12 gauge is a force to be reckoned with
