scope for mp 15-22

i want to get a scope for my new mp 15-22 and have no clue where or what to even start looking for. i would like to spend less then $150.

do you want a scope or a red dot? I only ask because the red dots are a lot more popular on a 'tactical' style rifle.

Dicks sporting goods has a cheaper scope with small flashlight and laser sight and laser i'n scope changes from red to blue to green not a high dollar one but looks cool and works very well compared to my eotechs

I would suggest looking @ Pentax Gameseeker line. You can pick one up for under $100 generally, and they work great.

I don't have the MP 15-22 but have a tricked out 10/22. I used a BSA 3x-9x 40mm scope for $100. It's been one great scope for target shooting and squirrel hunting. I think I just went to Walmart and picked it up.

You might want to look into Primary Arms, they make some good stuff especially at their pricepoint.
