I've machined brass grips in the past.
I've also done aluminum, clear plexi, and numerous other materials.
The majority of them were 1911 grips though.

The link you posted, is my inspiration. I want the same thing, for a gun that this option is not available for. Id be willing to spend more than that price. I just want the weight

Looks very close to a 1911 grip, with the exception of the upper hole placement.

Spalted set.

Well, if you wanted to make a couple dollars and make some H9 grips from bronze, I know a guy (me) who would be very interested depending on the quote I get from the first person I asked

Thats probably a better idea instead of the first 1.
