They were down to some corrosive Yugo M67 stuff this morning (which I've heard is actually good ammo), but even that's gone now. They still have some 7.62x54R though.
I've seen brass cased PPU 7.62x54R that wasn't to bad considering. I should have posted a link to it. Probably gone now.

No I haven't. Is it related to that kind of activity?
neat movie on its own, but the incident that gets the main characters in trouble is their repackaging banned Chinese ammo in an eastern European country then using it to fulfill a government contract. loosely based on a true story.

They have that, along with some Yugo and some Red Army Standard (Russian).

I watched an employee at a popular central Indiana shop clear off at least 2, maybe 3 cases worth of Russian and take it to the back at 8am this morning.

He said his boss learned of the ban and didn't think he could sell it.

Either misinformed or stock-piling before the rush, build to your own conclusion.

What I find odd is people are buying 7.62x39 ammunition not made in Russia. They are buying PPU, S&B brass case ammunition also. Stuff they would not buy before.

I posted this a month ago. It was $5.79 a box.
Look what they raised it to and still sold out.

Red Army Standard actually IS made in Russia. It's imported by Century. I checked earlier because I was curious about it.

What I'm saying is people are buying up all 7.62x39 even brass cased none Russian made ammunition.

"OMG no Russia ammunition better buy up the brass case stuff also"
Is that what people are thinking?

You could be right. They may be thinking that the Russian steel cased stuff is drying up so they better buy up the brass cased stuff.

But this is really beneficial for reloaders. Because when more people shoot brass 7.62x39 that means more once fired brass available to buy. Also 6.5 Grendel. This really can have a silver lining.
