The target posted above leaves me with more questions than conclusions. Was the target only shot by one person? Was it shot by a new shooter? Was it shot while just plinking or was it a training exercise? I've seen people who left a target like that which had been shot with a .22 and since whatever they were going to shoot would make a bigger hole they just used what was there. Also, many gun owners..maybe most gun owners just make an occasional trip to the range just for entertainment and not to actually train. We've all seen these people when they roll in to the range and that's ok. Even the guy/gal that only once or twice a year shoots the gun they keep in the closet may help the rest of us at the polls. I just hope they don't shoot targets like this with their edc gun and proudly exclaim how good it is.
Now, like others when I shoot I always strive to focus on quality time used for improvement. But there are times too when it's just about having fun. Like when I take a new shooter, the goals then are to be safe and have fun. So, again I have morw questions than speculation
It's not that difficult. Just home from a pretty busy 4 hours and no one even came close to making the list.Me as well, as long as I can stay off his list. LOL

Remeber folks to stay off his list do the following
1) Don’t shoot a pistol at too close a target
2) Def. Don’t shoot a rifle at < 10 yards
4) Don’t shoot your target too many times
5) Don’t use equipment that the rep disapproved of
6) Don’t miss
anything I’m missing
If it annoys you so much why come here? The rest of us enjoy the thread. If you don't go find one that you like or get a job as an RSO and start your own thread where you give morons training tips while trying not to get shot at. It would be funRemeber folks to stay off his list do the following

I know this won't surprise some but I'm still trying to rationalize it in my mind. I realized after my shift Saturday how many men bring their spouse/girlfriend with them to the range and pay for them to be the second shooter on the lane. This is a good thing but a large percentage of them seem very disinterested, never shoot and appear to be there just for an audience/cheerleader. If they just wanted to observe they could watch through the window for FREE! Any thoughts?

I know that when I bring my girlfriend to the range I'm lucky if I'm allowed to do anything other than load mags for her. There are times I'll get a second lane just so i can actually be able to shoot. Somehow i still end up having to load mags for her though. A time or two I've seen her encourage someone like mentioned above to try shooting one of her guns. She used to be timid about shooting until about the third range visit.
We need to for sure. I can find them for her g2c but mags for my gp100 seem nonexistent.
