    I know there was a thread when this first happened, but I can't find it.

    +100 to blown up dude for having most of his wits about him, even though he doesn't remember doing so.

    -1eleventyone to all the guys there who did not have their wits about them, despite (potentially) being in the position to be a casualty's only hope. Man.

    Have a medical plan, know where stuff is, know how to use it. Small problems, big problems, the only thing that changes is the scale.

    Absolutely amazing he survived that.
    What I found interesting was it sounded like it was a de-watt launcher and it was re-activated. Its mentioned in the video that after welding the de-watt hole shut a new sleeve was installed in the tube to make sure it was strong enough.
    The failure point was all the way around the weld and you cant see any of the tube that was supposedly added to the inside of the burn chamber.
    Hes a lucky man.
