    I think it is a good movie but calling it "an important movie" is taking it a bit to far. I like to think of it as a training film for retards. I'm still pissed there was no shower scene highlighting Lea Thompson. Really, is three minuets to much to ask for that..

    Important depends on your view of Important. I was important in Hollywood for those involved as they became labeled Militants, or War Mongers. Some of the best NRA people came from the making of the movie. It set a precident in this Country and really drove home the idea of what would happen if the "What if" became true.

    It's all about your view of "Important".

    But yea, 3 minutes for Lea, yea, that would have been worth it. :drool:

    And how did that movie end again? The heroic insurgents triumphed, right?


    I enjoy Red Dawn every once in a while, but it's not a high-quality movie. It is well-suited for drinking games.
