Recommendations for CCW revolver

I carry a 640-1 j frame S&W Centennial . This model is a double action only. No exposed hammer. It rides good in a holster either IWB or OWB and in your pocket. It handles +P+ .38's or .357. I also carry a .32 acp and fill it will work a hole lot better than my 1911 .45 left in the gun safe because it was to big. The .44sp bulldog is a great gun.

Only 5 shots in a carry gun is suicidal. Get an 8 shot revolver with moon clips.

i havent fired one but i have heard good things about the .327 federal too, one more round without sacrificing the small size

I do practice with 38 specials mostly and carry with 357 mags.

I'm more concerned with flame cutting than with being a wimp about the brutal recoil.

I will throw in for the Ruger sp101. I carry it in the front pocket just fine,

I have the ruger LCR and love to carry it. It's super lightweight and easy to conceal if that's the plan. It's not the most fun to shoot because it's so lightweight. The grip on it is very good.
