I carry a 640-1 j frame S&W Centennial :patriot:. This model is a double action only. No exposed hammer. It rides good in a holster either IWB or OWB and in your pocket. It handles +P+ .38's or .357. I also carry a .32 acp and fill it will work a hole lot better than my 1911 .45 left :noway: in the gun safe because it was to big. The .44sp :yesway: bulldog is a great gun.

I do practice with 38 specials mostly and carry with 357 mags.

I'm more concerned with flame cutting than with being a wimp about the brutal recoil.

I have the ruger LCR and love to carry it. It's super lightweight and easy to conceal if that's the plan. It's not the most fun to shoot because it's so lightweight. The grip on it is very good.
