    Firearm retirement?
    That's NOT a thing!

    My kids know every gun I own and I have given them their own choices to take the one they want. They have.
    One chose a long gun, I insisted she choose a handgun as well. Other chose a handgun, I insisted he choose an additional long gun.

    They also know that with my passing all of my guns are theirs -PERIOD!

    There will be NO retirement of firearms just because the original or, let's say, "papered" owner died. Stupid crap!
    What more BS can they possibly come up with!??!
    :ugh:

    :biggun::ar15::draw::shoot:

    Now I don't own a Class III, but my brother does. He was always a bit more flush with coin.
    He has a son, too. So, all I can ever do is get close to one.
    Don't worry. ATF already knows all about his fancy dancy stamps. I'm not giving anything away here.
    :laugh:

    Just a guess, but I'm thinking it's not the firearms being retired. It's the owner being "retired" from being able to own/possess them.

    Doesn't mean they don't want it to be a thing. Hence why they are researching it.

    DON'T START NO THING,
    WON'T BE NO THING!!
