Sadly, accidents do happen even when safety is the priority. Why? Because there are humans involved.

During my 26 years with IPD (the real IPD) the only places more dangerous than the police range were a DNR range open to the public and a gun show.

Bare minimum put a zip tie through the barrel.

I've done it too I ended up going out to the truck and digging out some red ones to make it more obvious that they were clear.

I don't go to those events so I don't really care I guess.

I've done it too I ended up going out to the truck and digging out some red ones to make it more obvious that they were clear.

Ours has yellow nylon rope sticking out of the barrel and I still didn't like it... It just felt so... Wrong lol

I trust that more than an impromptu training session with guns that were loaded 5 minutes before and mags on their belts.

Really hiding behind a door is a TV movie thing ?
I will defer all things Police to actual Police people.

But.

Yeah, standing behind car doors on a high risk stop is really outdated. Nobody in any of those photos was behind cover.
