A carry handle is not a vertical grip. It has nothing to do with a grip.

You cannot put a vertical foregrip on a pistol. Angled foregrips are okay, hand stops are okay.

I am very confused by your question.

I usually consider the handle on top as the carry handle. Is that what we are talking about?

Pistol with a carry handle is one the bottom.

Like has been said, the carry handle is the part ABOVE the receiver. On this one, you can see an angled foregrip poking out just below the light. These, and hand stops, are legal.

Vertical hand grips that hang straight down, like on the SBR, and .308, are not legal on a pistol.
