We've had a doe and 2 fawns in our back yard past 2 days also. One of the fawns ran up to my kids today while they stood on the back porch. Mom didn't even seem to care.

A few years ago, just about the time you start seeing the new babies out, I was out mowing the yard. As I was mowing, I saw a doe run across the yard…then a baby….then another baby…and then a 3rd. At first I thought that can’t be right. I must have been mistaken. But over the course of the summer, I saw them several more times. New life is cool.
