Spent the morning with my son out at the range.
We headed out with a S&W AR22 with Outback II suppressor, Krebs Krinkov AK in 7.62x39, and a boring A2 20" AR-15. The morning was downright chilly and we started off a bit rough when I found out that we left the .22 mags at home:

That's ok, you can always just single load the AR and save ammo. Here we are running subsonic remington ammo.

The boy had a good time cranking off rounds, both suppressed and tracers. He also had a belly full of snow, which is fine because it kept him from reminding me about the mags.
Then I got to spend some time with the AK and AR-15. Not alot as the boy got cold eating snow, but enough time to have fun - and to appreciate the Vortex hoodie I got from AA Optics. It really is warm.
Anyways, we had fun and will have more when it warms up and there is less snow to eat.
Hopefully, I will remember to bring 22 Mags the next time.
