I imagine at some point they'll run a script or something that will go through and update them all (and all of the broken emojis). The software does support YouTube (and a great many others) linking.

The old software used a third party script IIRC for the youtube links. So it may not ever sync those up.

I was thinking more brute force than that. Just a script at the admin level that searches every post for a "video=youtube" tag and edits it into a "media" tag that this forum seems to support.

I also only just barely have a clue of what I'm talking about, so, maybe not as easy as I think it is.

My comment was meant more for those who have little understanding of the work going on behind the scenes and actually think it only takes a finger snap and things will be "all better". "All better" being defined as what's best for them.
