We were told a good reference is that if the person thinks they're reliving the past that it is Alzheimer's. Not sure how true that is.Sadly, Alzheimer's is dementia, but dementia isn't Alzheimer's.
And it can't be determined, with certainty, which it is until the person passes and an autopsy is completed.
Both Alzheimer's and dementia, run on both sides of the Mrs. family. Her grandmother had Alzheimer's to the
worst degree. It's terrible to see someone degrade from those diseases.

My Gpa was pretty much stuck in the 50's and 60's. It took us awhile to realize that the things he was saying had already happened.
