I feel like these are mostly marketed towards bigger hunting type revolvers and lever guns myself based on their website. I would never use a ghost ring set up on a pistol myself, now a SMG or rifle then I am a fan.

    Very Interesting!
Always liked a "Full Buckhorn" rear sight & these take that a Step further.
I'll be looking into these for a couple of my weapons.
    Thanks for the Link.

Peep sights definitely work better up closer to your eye. I’ve never tried one on a handgun, but I actually have a Marbles Bullseyes rear sight on the way to try on an old Swedish single shot 22. The receiver makes it pretty much impossible to mount a rear peep and with it being all original and nigh on a hundred years old, I’m not going to drill any new holes in it!

I did hold a peep from a receiver sight up to the rear blade and it was useable, but it wasn’t as fast as a normal rear mounted peep. I’m looking more for a bit better accuracy with my eyes than speed of target acquisition on this rifle.

Here's my story on "one holers"...
Years ago I shot in a league at Sportshooters[Louisville]. One week for grins we all shot a HiPoint 380 after the match- same COF as the match- 50 rounds. This pistol had a peep and blade. Scores were down maybe 5-7%. Not bad for a HiPoint w/ peeps!
