Rugged Obsidian 9 in short configuration
Do you miss having a rear iron sight for backup, or to help you find the dot?
I'm getting an rmr on my glock soon, and thought about deleting the rear iron sight, and just painting a white line or dot on the back of the rmr to use as a makeshift backup rear sighting point (in case the rmr failed in an emergency )

Frankenstein AR with Liberty Mystic-X
Frankenstein currently running Aero precision upper, RRA lower and A2 stock with balanced weight, PSA BCG, 20" Larue barrel and grip, Gibbz handguard, odinworks adjustable gas block forward assist and charging handle, triggertech trigger, JP rifles SC spring, accurizer plug, threaded trigger group pins, SWFA SS 16x fixed in Aero precision mount, sitting on Burris bipod.
Shoots a very quiet 1/2 MOA at 200 yards with 68grn SMK.
What you can't see is that I have a thin white vertical line on the back of the optic that acts as the rear sight (dot the "I" with the front sight). I used a very thin pin stripe tape after measuring and lightly etching a line into the optic itself. I find that it works fine.
