Don't trust any bills obama wants to pass, cause it'll hurts us one way or another

Obama suggested three areas for reform: enforcement of gun control laws already on the books through better implementation of the National Instant Criminal Background Check System; rewards for states that keep the best data -- "and therefore do the most to protect our citizens"; and a faster and nimbler network that provides "an instant, accurate, comprehensive and consistent system for background checks to sellers who want to do the right thing."

We need to all read between the lines with guy.

"If we're serious about keeping guns away from someone who's made up his mind to kill, then we can't allow a situation where a responsible seller denies him a weapon at one store, but he effortlessly buys the same gun someplace else," he wrote, in reference to the "gun show loophole" that gun control advocates say enables people to avoid background checks

It hard to read peoples minds. how do you know when someone wants to kill someone? Even when they walk into a gun store and there back ground check comes back clean.

Of course. They always want just a little more, and a little more, and everytime we compromise we lose something. That has added up significantly over time.

So do me a favor?

No more defensive compromises. Make THEM compromise over and over. Start bringing those bills and amendments. Give us back our machine guns, you *******s.

Well he is a socialist. We can only hope this unqualified "Manchurian Candidate" gets voted out of office before he can do anymore damage to our nation. Wake up America! Wake Up!! To many people are like sheep in this country and just have no idea what's going on!

"A man our Army rejected as unfit for service; a man one of our colleges deemed too unstable for studies; a man apparently bent on violence, was able to walk into a store and buy a gun," he lamented.

So... it's common sense that before a person buys a gun someone from either the government or gun shop must poll the prospective buyer's military record (if any), previous employment or attempts at employment, educational record and collect references from the buyer's friends and family so that it can be firmly ascertained whether or not the person is guilty of thoughtcrimes?

Lets not forget divorce records when the soon to be ex claims that the person in question is unstable, or the medical and therapist records, or even (Heaven Forbid), V.A. counseling and psychiatric evaluations.

I think we all saw this coming:xmad:

Obama said:
"If we're serious about keeping guns away from someone who's made up his mind to kill, then we can't allow the ATF to help and all but giftwrap bulk purchases of firearms for drug cartels. "

Fixed it.

Arizona shooter got his gun at a shop. Columbine kids used straw purchasers. Virgina Tech guns came gun shops. While some criminals may take advantage of gun shows, I sincerely doubt that most guns used by criminals are purchased in this manner.

We can pretend that gun shows or private sales are the root of all evil. We can pretend that further gun control will disarm everyone with bad intentions. In the end, none of it does a thing to address the fact that criminals will break the rules to get what they want or address the socio-economic issues that cause leads to criminal activity

Also, I love how when talking about firearms related deaths, most people love to leave out the fact that nearly 60% are suicides. Gun control does little to prevent suicide.
