Westforth got tired of all the lawsuits from the lazy mayors and lazy PDs that didn't want to do their jobs and investigate/prosecute straw purchasers

Easier for them to go after a business following the law, and push their anti gun innuendos.




When they would state, X amount of guns were bought there, and used in crimes, but then fail to mention background checks had been done.
Or fail to note, that they could have been using officers to INVESTIGATE

I think that made them the ONLY local gun store that I can recall, besides the really really cool one then, Fetla's

Fetlas.
I really miss that place.

To be fair, people aren't getting a ton for guns right now. They go in, get offered a low price and just keep it. That's not Blythe's fault. That's just how things are. OR people sell on forums, GunBroker etc. and get more money directly.

Picked up one of my best bargains ever thru their GB sales way back around 2010. Brand new CZ 550 Mannlicher in .243 with bodacious wood. $600.00. He tried to charge me $700 when I went to pick it up in Griffith. Nope, 600. I think they were just gettin started with online sales, and failed to put a reserve.

Griffith and Valpo seem to have much less used stock than they used to. That may be a general thing everywhere nowadays, as it seems folks are holding onto their older stuff.
