One would suspect their insurance costs will skyrocket at this point, even if they have improved security after each break in. I had 3 break ins at one of my stores and was told by the insurance company that a 4th would cause them to drop coverage. After each break in I improved security. The problem is that each time the burglars took even bolder measures ... up to an including running a car into the door of the store. Hard to stop a car from crashing through the front of a building without doing some major structural changes OUTSIDE the building.

Not sure what the new owner of Blythe's is doing but I feel sorry for him.
True. Chicago has had a lot of these crash and grabs in the last year.

They were out in Valpo. No problems here in the country.

My inside dogs snored away in their kennels, oblivious to the storm. The puppy stayed in his shed when it was pouring and went out around 2AM to bark at the lightning.

My dogs are a bunch of pu****s. Leo kept burrowing under the covers, Lorelei was barking and walking around in circles, and Lucy was lying on top of me, trembling so hard it shook the bed.

I tried it on Leo and he hated it. That was back when he was the only one who was bothered by the storms and fireworks. Now it seems they all are. I have been thinking about trying to dig it up or getting a new one for Lucy and/or Lorelei. Would be nice to get one that would fit both. They are only about 8-9 lbs apart.

All of them huddled under my desk.

I sleep "sound"ly every night ('cept for peeing) through thunderstorms and frogs on my sound machine.
