Having spent the first 45 or so years of my life living in houses with basements that flooded when it rained, the sound of rain or thunder at night is NOT a comforting sound at all. I don't sleep well when it rains because I spent so many hundreds of nights worrying about having to bail out the basement in the morning.

Where did you grow up at?
I remeber living in east chicago and never having that issue yet my uncle's house in south chicago and several of my friends house even on the street i lived having water. Heck my uncles house always smelled of water in hiw basement no matter what time of year i went by. It was a damp smell, no foul but had that wetness to it.

House in Cal City always backed up, but we had huge root issues. Sucked cause it was always sewage.

On the bright spot im going to save 10% at cabelas on tuesday and get what i was looking for cheaper then even amazon.

I find things cheaper at other places on a fairly regular basis.

Amazon is just easy & fast. Not always cheapest.

Agree cabelas is typically my last resort cause they are overpriced. But for some lucky reason the item in question they have marked off.

No, this was out in Bolingbrook. The firefighters put it on for an MDA fundraiser.

I heard rumblings that they were going to build a rink by Cabela's. I will live there if they do. Right off of 80, they will do well.
