Ugh.
Friggin windows update took out my Ethernet connection. Took me a bit to figure out.

Windows crashed my laptop this fall with their insistent updates. My computer guy thought it was pretty serious at first because all it would do is blink without even showing a recognizable screen. He said the windows update is what did it.

Some intel based hardware doesn't seem to work after the latest update sequence in 7 and 8/8.1.... Although I think that was a design in 10... lol...

I'm guessing the wife is going to expect me to get up and clear off the snow tomorrow morning...on my day off.
Since a lot of humanity will be off tomorrow, I suspect I'll hit the gym then clean last Friday's pew, pew, pew session.

I hear that MS was going to auto update everyone to WINDOWS 10 if they had auto-updates on.
But I had no heard about disabling your hardware for internet.

Wife and I both have the day off. Unfortunately, I have to run around 1/3 of the State of Indiana getting insurance forms updated for my daughters. If I have time, I might stop into Point Blank in Carmel and check it out.

I thought about that, but then I remembered how many people will be off today. I suspect they will be packed today being President's Day.
Cleared the snow off my property and 3 neighbor's. Waved at the wife as she headed back to the salt mines.

I have (had?) a liberal friend from college. He unfriended me on Facebook.

He's a Bernie Sanders supporter. He's an economic illiterate. He constantly posted "Occupy Democrats" memes that were inaccurate or outright lies.

Now I'm an avid anti-Socialist. I was a Republican for years but moved over to the Libertarian position probably a decade ago. In the early 1970's, as a teenager, I had the good fortune of traveling behind the iron curtain during the cold war between the US and the USSR. That experience cemented my hatred of socialism/communism.

But with my college friend on FB all I would do was be very civil. Never argued. Provided links to non-partisan websites refuting socialist tax claims, economic claims, etc.

So for being honest and objective I got unfriended. I gather that is a common thing for liberals to do when they don't want to face the truth.

I'd say that is about par for the course with the pseudo-libs who support Sanders (and hilary for that matter.) Post BS stuff that can be refuteed with very minimal effort but keep the blinders on and ignore questions or comments that go contrary to hteir beleifs.

Well I'm pretty open to all people on my Facebook account but I finally had to unfriend one of these damn liberals today... He started ranting about how great it was that Scalia died and that they would get to replace him with a liberal judge... Just unfriended and blocked that pos as fast as my fingers would work.... Maybe I need to go do some outdoor shooting with the 308... this weather is terrible but might be neat to hit small groups at the 200.... Everything is better after some pew pew pew and bacon of course...

Very interesting.... but I got a Marlin 45 70 GBL on the way and need some parts and ammo for her to be ready for some poster shots....

That and Im thinking on visiting a buddy down in Texas and see what 45 70 does to those hogs they are having issues with down there...

I finally stopped "following" one of my cousins over that kind of stuff. He couldn't accept that a conservative or business perspective could ever be valid.
