I have been right eye dominant all of my life. When I had a cataract on my right eye my dominance shifted to my left eye. Now my groups with my right eye are much bigger than the roots of my left eye are much bigger than ones used to be with my right eye.
Yeah for many years I had to force myself to use my left eye. I hope sooner or later things will get back the way they are supposed to be. With the cataract surgery I'm also now dealing with a fixed focal length rather than the human eyes ability to float it's focus as needed. My pupils are still having issues with bright lights also so I'm guessing there will be a couple months or more of retraining everything. I definitely will need some more trigger time to get my groups down though... Getting old sucks... lol

Wow - fresh coho! Were they still in close and shallow? How big were they?
That is so awesome to be able to catch salmon near home. I would love that!
Minimum is 14". Only caught one that was remotely close. We trolled back and forth in 8' to 30' depth along the shore between Michigan City and the State Park. Last week, when it was warmer, they went miles out.

    Kid approved!

Even the wife ate the whole filet! She's not a salmon fan, but the milder flavor and some butter nailed it.

Tyler, our captain, holds the IN Lake Trout record.

DNR is supposed to be restocking next week.

Relaxing in the recliner, enjoying all the green and blossoms outside, sipping on some Woodford Reserve Double Oaked, watching the ball game. The wife took the kid over to a buddy's for a sleepover before they head to Scout camp tomorrow, so it's just me and the Mrs.:grabass:

Porter County has a bomb squad which is uber expensive to keep that kind of stuff just sitting round. Most areas will use another counties. Kind of like PoCo's SWAT, a buddy is on, that gets called in all the time and like the search and rescue teams.

And all here that hunt and/or fish this product is slick! I can't tell you how much time I've spent hunkered over a bowl washing a filet at a time.

Soooooo not sure what holiday it is tonight but there is a lot of fireworks and gun fire going off in Hessville.

On another note I learned something about my little Ruger LCP 2 22LR yesterday... It requires cleaning after 1700 rounds apparently...

I don't think Costco is cheap anymore. My sis took took this picture of there wild caught cod fish. $20 for 2 lbs. Aldi has wild Alaska cod fish, 2lb bag for $12.

The same with the chicken breast. Costco price is 5.99 per lb. Adli has the bulk pack for 2.49 per lb.

Poco has the bomb squad, lake co has the helicopters, they trade services. Pretty good deal for both
