NRA life memberships?

I'm thinking of becoming a life member, but was hoping another $300 life membership was available... It looks like I need to be sponsored by a current life member for this price... Any lifers want to sponsor a guy?

BTW: I give the NRA/ILA donations through out the year and also attend and spend a chunck of change at a friends of NRA dinner every year.

Are they running that special again. Last I saw $500 was the cheapest. The other had expired.
