PA is one of the worst states. They will soon go the way of CA, NY, IL. I'm from there and had a chance to relocate there with family. They have so many dang taxes and laws/regulations on everything!!

I recall a story of some folks who were told they were not permitted to fire their weapons on the town green.

They did anyway.

It did not work out too well for those who said they couldn't.

Yep, virtually all municipalities do not allow shooting in their limits.

If I recall, when I lived in VA, out in the county, you just had to have an adequate backstop.

I found out here in Indiana, there are no such regulations concerning proper backstops. My old boss's neighbor was sitting in his barn shooting down through their back yard. Nothing but trees at the back of their property so no telling where the bullets ended up. My boss called the sheriff and he said there was nothing he could do about it.
