Man....that is a hard question to answer without knowing more.

What guns do you already own? Sometimes mag compatibility is a driving factor in which gun you should get next?

What is the purpose of said new gun?

What are your personal preferences in pistols? SA, DA/SA, Striker?

$1100 is a good budget and opens up MANY options.
I have a p30, and canik sfx, I’m really big into hammer fired guns and have been looking at acouple 1911’s I’d really like to find a double stack 9, that had a rail, but finding a 1911 alone with a rail is rough.

If you want a double stack 9 with a rail I would check out the CZ P-01. A little smaller than a full size but still a duty size pistol.
I carry a CZ PCR (touched by the wizard with Cajun pro pack) and it's my favorite shooter.

Definitely! I’ve been looking at acouple cz- I feel like the slide is a little too small, but from what I’ve read/seen once you get use to it, it’s killer
Put 75 rounds through it the other day. Alot nicer then expected. Good trigger, recoil better then expected. A bit wider then my 4" 1911, but not much. Grip texture is pretty agressive, but not bothersome just noticeable. Pretty easy to shoot well. Got life stuff going on so probably won't make it back to the range until Thursday. If it runs a few more boxes with no issues it'll probably replace my 40+ year old ageing 1911 edc.

    For $1100...I'd get a Gen 5 G17, a holster, and a case of ammo.

Don't rule out a Glock 45, which is actually a Glock 19 with the grip lengthened to match a Glock 17 grip...and don't rule out a Glock 19X which comes with all the bells and whistles already on it!!!!
And then you would still have $$ with which to buy a good holster and a bunch of ammo!!!

    Also two good choices.

I have my own opinions of course, but I think that Honest Outlaw's list of must have guns is pretty compelling. His choice for a full sized gun, given the 100's of guns that he reviews is pretty spot on (6:22 in the video).

PSA just came out with their version of the Glock 45, 19x. It looks very interesting.

My vote would be for CZ. I’ve carried a CZ P01 for several years now and it’s a great gun! If you want a full size gun step up to the CZ75B.
I finally got to shoot my P07 and P09 and I must admit I was impressed with how well the P07 shoots! Between 4 CZs I shot aboit 400 rounds and didn’t have one issue whatsoever.
For midsize and carry the P01, CZ75 Compact or P07 and for Full size CZ75, 75B or P09.
The compact CZs are also capable of using the full size magazines.

    How is the P09?
    Is it a polymer frame 75 SP-01?

Hey guys! New to the forum, and interested in peoples opinion on what my next handgun should be, less then 1100, I’d like it to be close to full size. I’ve been looking at m18s and canik mete sfx
$1100 ish dollars gets you the Absolute favorite CZ Shadow 2 9mm bliss.

Outta the box accurate and finished - nothing to add.

Absolute worked tricked out trigger etc.

The P09 is big but very manageable. I don’t have an SP01 but the P09 is a SA/DA 19round 9mm with a decocker. It is a polymer frame. 21 round mags are available. It is capable of more accuracy than I probably am so if I ever get any of the more expensive CZs it’ll just be because I want one. Right now the P07 is my favorite. I like the PCR (CZ75 Compact without the rail) but it has a safety and I’m used to the decockers now. The safety is much like my 1911s so it’s not that big of a deal but in a stressful situation I don’t want to try to remember if I have a safety cocked n locked or a double action with decocker.

    I've seen the 75 SP-01, but haven't handled it.
It looks like it might be my next 9mm or the 75 Omega.

I have a 75 Compact Omega. I like the regular P01 with decocker a bit better. I’d like to change the PCR to decocker but not certain if that’s possible. I can’t keep the Blue and Orange and all the other expensive ones straight.
    Love the rifles too!

The Omega is the one you can turn to 1911 type safety or decocker right?
