Looks like ATF has changed their minds. The foreign made pistols that would have been outright banned under rule 922r can now be registered like other domestic pistols.

Here we are ten years and forty million braces into a complete reversal of policy by the ATF. It is clear that the agency is being used as a weapon against lawful gun owners. Let the lawsuits and investigations by congress begin.

I believe the words you are looking for are "arbitrary and capricious".

I was thinking more along the lines of these two quotes along with a string of profanity,

“Whenever the legislators endeavor to take away and destroy the property of the people, or to reduce them to slavery under arbitrary power, they put themselves into a state of war with the people, who are thereupon absolved from any further obedience.” ~ John Locke (1690)

"If you put the federal government in charge of the Sahara Desert, in 5 years there'd be a shortage of sand." Milton Friedman

It almost made it a day without a lawsuit being filed, almost.

Glenn Beck had a guy from the lawsuit on this morning at the start of his show. I believe they went nearly an hour.

He has his shows available on You Tube if anyone wants to listen.

    Interesting.
I would have guessed it would be the 2a foundation who filed first.
Now I'm curious to see how many different entities will file separately.
My guess now is that some may wait to file, to see what happens with the one's that have been filed.

    Yup!

    Just saw this tidbit.
Stabilizing braces transform a pistol into a weapon that's powerful and easy to conceal, Attorney General Merrick Garland said when he announced the rule earlier this month. Originally developed for disabled veterans, the accessories became a loophole exploited by gunmakers to make weapons more deadly, gun-control groups said.

There was a second lawsuit filed already too by the FPC.

They apparently sued 2 years ago. As far as I can tell, it is still in the courts.
