Need help with trail cameras.

I'm looking for a trail camera that's at least 1mp, (More would be better.) and have a battery life of around 6 months. No flash, IRs only. I would prefer to not have an external battery pack, but am willing to make this compromise. And like everyone else, I want to get it cheap.
What are my options? I'd like to hear from some of you that have actually used 'em.
Oh, almost forgot, my intended use has nothing to do with hunting. I want to place them in/around my cabin in the woods to keep an eye on it when I'm not there. Heaven forbid there would be a break in, but it would be nice to have a shot, no matter how slim, of catching the vandals.

there is also one that send picture messages to your cellphone as soon as it takes the pic, but i cant find it on here
