So I checked online, and there are no traditional gemstones or gifts listed for this one. However, the modern gift is listed as "Real estate improvement".
Now, I'm wondering if mowing the lawn qualifies? :dunno:
Or perhaps I should abandon that line of thought, and go for the I pad and dinner?
    So confusing!! :):

Just enjoy her the way she is. Some "yes, Dear" never hurts, either. :)

I'm closer to 30 than 40 years of marriage but I can vouch for this. The saying: "When momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy" is something a wise man should always consider and take into account in any of his actions:D.

    Congratulations schafe!

Congrats. Today is our 31st... I heated up the Jack's frozen pizza for lunch without being asked...

Personally, I would go with mowing the lawn. But, then again, I made it to 24 but 25...not so much.

Seriously, congrats to you and your bride. May you share many more years of wedded bliss.

she must be a saint....... or an angle. ;)

Schafe, praying: Lord I married that Saint you sent and for our 42nd anniversary, I bought her dinner and an I pad.
Voice from the clouds: Thats all?
Schafe: Well, I thought that Remington Rand 1911 I bought her for our 40th would work for at least a couple of years.
Voice from the clouds: Sheesh...go mow the lawn.
    Schafe: Yes, Lord.

    Congratulations on 42 years.

Today is the hubby and mine's 31st. To celebrate we went to the lake and he spent the day fishing while I layed on the boat and read a book. I snuck a nap in there too. Got off the water a bit early so we could make it home to get cleaned up to go to church. I missed church Sunday morning cause I was at an Appleseed. :) Was a great way to celebrate our anniversary.

Hope you enjoyed your's too.
