Do they really get $179 for a 91/30?
If any of you have an 03 FFL wait awhile and AIM surplus will maybe have some more for $69. I've bought a bunch from AIM, and aside from some rough wood work, they are all good shooters.

In my opinion these things are the best buy on the market. Lots of history, lots of markings to decode if you wish. Usually very good shooters(these are not target models). I have an ffl and have ordered in a few but would rather go to a store and pay 89-100 for one that I can look at because I am getting very particular on the ones I am looking for.

    EDIT:

They have laminate wood stock models regular price is $179.00
    Store price $159.00

The regular wood stock models are $139.00
    Store price $119.00

What is the difference between regular and store price?
Probably a marketing point just like every other in store sale ad.

I have never shot a Mosin, do they kick like a mule?
No, The carbines have a little bite to them, the 91/30s, not so much. I'm sure some here will tell you different.
I wonder if Dunhams will ever get a batch of the chinese ones.
Aim had the type 53 a few weeks ago, but are currently sold out. They should be getting more in stock though.
