Another would be the number of accounts that pop up and start posting after being opened years ago.

Hey, I resemble that remark! I could give a whole list reasons for it like:

lack of time to actually try to understand the community and how some of it functions

being very tech unsavvy and not wanting to screw things up (never ever cut and paste a picture)

being loathe to inflict ones opinion on others when not asked for

enjoying the view but not quite ready to jump in

becoming so disenfranchised with the media that you want to see a different perspective

etc...

If I actually posted all the responses I started typing I might have twice the post count that I do.

While I enjoy the fun side of this forum/community, I've never been compelled to post-whore much or try to comment in every thread, even if my input added absolutely nothing to further the discussion...like some.
