    To All,

I know it seems funny and cool on the surface, but I would gently interject that I did a paper in psychology class on the topic of men being raped in the 80's.

This is a very horrific experience for men, who can wind up more mentally disturbed by the experience than most would think. It can cause men to question themselves, their masculinity and their cultural perception of how men are strong and can defend themselves.

It may seem funny to read about, but consider how you would explain to others if several armed women who were NOT f*****g around or joking forced you to perform? How much taunting, harassing, and prodding would you endure? Would you even report it? Most men who have been raped don't, and they live with their unearned shame for years or decades.

Please consider how you, as a "big, tough guy" would feel trying to explain that these dainty little women raped you. It isn't an enjoyable event.

    Regards,

    Doug

First off, I'm not a big tough guy.

I would be willing to validate your research by offering myself up for the experiment. One caveat though. I get to choose the 3 woman. So little time left. So very long a bucket list. If this sounds insensitive, I apologize in advance.

There is nothing more heart wrenching than to have an 18-year old come into your office to report a rape. I just had my first report from a male and it's just as infuriating. I can only pray they take advantage of the resources available and deal with it. However, many only want to try and forget about it and keep it bottled up. I've seen the effects of this choice and it's not pretty for most.

I'm unclear on the laws in this area, are you required to notify the police? Is not reporting a crime a crime?

Domestic and sexual assault Of an adult is tricky. It's possible reporting it leads to more abuse. For minors I think there's mandatory reporting, not entirely sure of adults. In the ER we have patients frequently with these issues and we don't report, just ask if they'd like to speak with an officer and file a report.

There are substances that can do this, but can be dangerous.
I say this because a friend of mine told me a guy he works with has a friend who took some type of non-prescription "substances" that gave him an extreme erection that didn't subside.

He finally went to the hospital, and as the doctor was treating him told him to enjoy this erection because "it's likely the last one you'll ever have".
This stuff had permanently damaged him.

Oh good lord. That explains those Chem lawn years....

On a different note, I once was subjected to a similar experience by two sisters. The potion they gave me was something called "beer". Fortunately, [for them] they already had a cooler ready.

We are required to report it as a Title IX incident; however, it is completely up to the accuser to file a police report or even cooperate with the investigator.
