So, I installed the Chen SI magwell and a new set of VZ grips today. The grips texture is too aggressive for me, but they look good and that Chen magwell looks and works great. I love that it is a one piece design .

I will look into them. Thanks! I had a grip frame that I had Metaloy'd many years ago, and it wears unbelievably well. I have b3en reading some things about Metalife, and everything so far that I have seen is good.

I used to send a lot of guns to metaloy years ago for the tacticote finishes when those were new, i'm not sure they're even still in business, I can't find any type of internet presence for them anymore. Mahovsky's has a very good reputation, I recently sent them a nickel hi-power to have the finished removed for a project and they were easy to work with.
