Looking to get some engraving/etching done on my Glock. Noticed a few suggestions from my area. Does anyone have any dealings with Scotty's in Michigan City ? Would like to get an image on one side of the slide and text on the other.
    Thanks

Does the CO2 engraving meet the depth requirements? I love the way it looks, definitely a lot cleaner look than most engraving, just want to make sure its g2g.

Depth requirement is .003" no matter the technology. I'm interested to know if it's deep enough too. I use to run a CO2 laser table in college and it would only go as deep as the anodize oxide layer... Class II is only .0007", that's 7 tenths.

I haven't had personal dealings with them, but this is the brother of a coworker. I've seen some of their work on my coworkers guns and looks pretty dang good.

Related Note... ZR Tactical Solutions in Noblesville not only engraves names, they bought a laser and can do images, lettings, logos, etc on almost anything. Still using milling machine for legal NFA markign depths

Just received my lower back from Laser Scribe. Excellent work! They were also very patient with my kiddos running around!

I had my lower done ere too, I forgot to post here. I feel the same way about their work, additionally I have a rather long name and they were forced to put my engraving in a note normal location and it looks really good.

    engraving from sp3worker

I recently had sp3worker do some engraving for an AR-15 SBR. He did great work, while I waited. I enjoyed meeting and talking with him. I wouldn't hesitate to have him help out on future projects. If you're in the NE part of the state and need engraving, give him a call!

He couldn't do the front of the mag well. No big deal (I only asked about doing it there since that's where my other SBR was done).

A couple of spots my aluminum black didn't "take." Not sure what's up with that....

Here's my sbr 300 blackout, done by Laserscribe. I'm really happy with work for $35, like where they were about to place the engraving as my lower was already assembled.
