Is this show much different from the Elkhart one? I see it claims 150 more tables, but is that more make up, purses, candy, jerky with pretty much the same group of actual gun/knife tables?
Same stuff... Different day.
I think the Elkhart show is better than Howe, but it just depends.
The best thing about Howe is going to eat afterwards at the Chinese Buffet in Stugis.
The Mongolian Pork is amazing.
It is like eating candied bacon.
The November show was better (larger, more selection) than any Elkhart show I've ever attended, plus the two rooms have a lot more space. Aside from the ever present lady cleaning eye wear and one guy cutting vinyl graphics, all else was what you'd hope to see at a gun show. However it did take a while to forget that "horse stall" smell....
Saturday is definitely the better day, as not all the tables fill on Friday.
This show is usually pretty pathetic. I went to one of the first shows held there, and made the mistake of giving it a couple other tries. I've been to a few other shows put together by this group, and thought they all were a waste of time and money.
Brand new building behind Raber Patio on 200 N. Time will tell, but I'm hoping this venue now will draw more of the vendors/sellers who had previously been in Howe and not Shipshe.
