At 25 yards downhill, gravity will be stronger at the point of impact. You'll have to adjust accordingly for declination and Coriolis effect at such distance.

Obviously, I am not being serious. If you are zeroing at 25 yards, you do not have to worry about declination.

If you want to get really wierd, try throwing in the difference that the effects of gravity on a bullet fired downhill versus "level", and don't forget to factor in the difference in air pressure!!! This oughta keep the math geeks occupied for a couple of minutes:D

Don't forget to factor for Updrafts and Downdrafts also, there could be body of water of a cliff edge as well...

Shoot low!

Shooting downhill requires you shoot low.........How low depends on the range.

Is this for shooting in the Northern Hemisphere or the Southern Hemisphere? Because if you want to shoot in the Northern Hemisphere you need to do the reverse of what everyone has just told you because of the opposite spinning gravitational vortex and the turbulent rotating magnetic fields.

This obviously depends on your barrel twisting to the left. If your gun has a Right twist barrel and your shooting in the Northern Hemisphere, of course you need to wait till the second Tuesday of next week to shoot accurately. Although, if you are using a double barrel with alternate twist barrels, you had better be firing parallel to the equator in April to early May.

If you have any doubts at all about everyone's calculations - Pull out the 12 gauge.
(Just remember the pellet weight ratio-vs-the prime meridian factor with shooting buck shot, and you'll be fine.) Glad to help. :n00b:
