    Some important, economic training for anyone who carries a firearm.

    So you have all the guns and gear needed to win a fight. Ever considered what happens if the good guys get hurt? Get the skills, gear, and training needed to save lives. In this class we will discuss what to do when things go south. Topics in class will teach you how to treat the 3 major causes of preventable combat deaths which are major hemorrhage, airway problems, and tension pneumothorax. Skills will include the application of tourniquets, pressure dressings, hemostatic agents, airway management and more. Work your way through scenarios simulating stressful medical situations and how to manage them. Each student will get a hands on learning experience with tactical medical equipment, and after completion of class, will be able to put together, and know how to use their own IFAK (individual first aid kit). Lead instructor for the Class will be a Firefighter/Paramadic who also has over 8 years experience as a SWAT Medic, and is a TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care) instructor. Also teaching the class is a Firefighter/EMT. Both are certified Indiana State Fire Instructors, and hold numerous certifications in the Fire and EMS spectrum.

    Trauma kits will be available for purchase for $60. These will include a tourniquet, pressure dressing, nasal airway, chest seal, and tape. We will need a count prior to class so if you want to purchase one, please let us know ahead of time.

    ***Requirements for Class***
    * One open mind
    * Pen
    *Notebook or Notepad
