I was using a self checkout tonight and caught the end of a holster peering beneath the polo that a guy in front of me was wearing, are you on here?

That's not real OC, it's closet OC in that case if he had a polo on top.

    Maybe ATM. :dunno: ;)

Wait a minute.... Just how many Walmarts did an INGO open carry at, at approximately the same time?

You seem to run into a lot of guys carrying guns in grocery stores :):

    Indeed. :):

It's amazing how you suddenly start spotting it everyone once you start carrying. Sometimes things like an NRA or INGO ballcap are a tip-off too. ;)

I seem to see mostly owb holsters underneath untucked shirts, which I don't know whether to interpret as a failed attempt to carry concealed, or a failed attempt to OC . It could be a successful attempt to be comfortable while remaining indifferent to being spotted.

This guy in front of me didn't appear to be a police officer, but I still didn't want to "out" him with "nice Glock you are half concealing, are you on INGO?"

When I met Shay I tried to be halfway discreet about it. :shady:

    Me: "Nice hat."
Shay: "Thanks. Do you just like my hat, or do you know what it is?"
Me: "Yeah, I know what INGO is. I EDC a G19."
    Shay: "You interested in training?"
Me: "Yes, I'm saving for a BUG, but I should probably put training first."
Shay: "Yes, knowing how to use one is better than having two and no training. Do you post on INGO?"
Me: "No, I registered, but I'm just a lurker."
    Shay: "You should start posting."

I started feeling like Judge Reinhold in Beverly Hills Cop by the time we parted ways from all of the acronyms. :):

As for this sounding like the "missed connections" section of Craigslist, that's exactly what I thought as I was typing out the OP :):
