Interesting topic. Most of the Indy area has instructions on their city websites. The biggest problem is many drivers are on the phone, (IMO, this next one is worse) eating, and other distractions, actually hoping to stop so they can look at their phone.

Then the big lack of knowledge is that many roundabouts are different, they are engineered to flow traffic differently at different locations, so some drivers think they all are like the one by their house. Not so…

That would be great, if people were going to their websites.

Actually I have one to add, actually require REAL drivers education… Heck folks cannot even merge on highways. The stupidity I see daily is astounding…

Who ever redesigned the 465 74 west interchange should be shot. You have to take an exit to travel straight ahead east from 74 and you go straight ahead to exit onto 465. Morons.

There was a perfectly normal and adequate ramp from eastbound I265 to southbound 10th street in Jeffersonville, but they tore it out and rerouted traffic so that it has to merge into a roundabout. Why intentionally complicate the traffic pattern!?!?

The i69 exit 10 double diamond is a nightmare for the first time you drive it. The second time it is confusing. The third time it is understandable. The fourth it is easy. The fifth and everytime after it is “why are they not all like this”

In Texas they use access roads on the highways. Like mini highway next to the highway. Accident just bypass the highway to the access road and continue.

There could be such major improvements but they are stuck in the past in Indiana.
“Indiana the place where time never changes?” But now we have daylight savings so no longer true
