I believe he WOULD carry, a S&W revolver, that is what he carried in the first couple of seasons of "Walker Texas Ranger" !!!!!

And, as "Lone Wolf McQuade", Texas Ranger, he carried a S&W .44mag revolver in a cross draw holster. Chuck Norris doesn't have to worry about a bad guy getting close enough to him to grab his pistol from a cross-draw holster!
