The sad part was the mexican Gov't outlawed centerfire firearms to combat the cartels. They followed the chicago guidebook all at once.
Obama supplied the cartels not only with firearms and ammunition, but with explosives as well.
Then he ran around the country saying American Gun owners were selling cartels their firearms and ammunition. All this was done with fast and furious.
He also supplied ISIS the same way but ran it through Benghazi.
Pay attention INGO,
But if that is true, where in the hell did the cartels find a rimfire 50BMG?
Very powerful stuff. Anderson Cooper looked stunned.
My parents refuse to drive to their hometown in mexico because it so bad. Granted our hometown is safe, getting there is not. The cartels dont care who you are or where your from or even why you're where they dont want you to be. They know there is nothing tou can do to them. You are unarmed, and they make their own rules. This is what the 2a in it's TRUE form prevents. At this point the cartels are the tyrannical Gov't 2a was designed for. The mexican govt has less authority everyday, which would be fine, if they hadn't disarmed and paralyzed the citizens through their socialist b.s. agenda.

...IMO poke a cartel and the locals in the eye with a stick and see what happens?
All that aside...which I was aware of, if the safety of your family is of paramount importance and you are American citizens, voluntarily living in an area where narco-terrorists are prominent seems...unwise.
Look, when murderers murder, they get 100% of the blame for their actions.
However, if we are interested in avoiding, y'know, being murdered, it pays to take a look at what could be done to avoid being in places where that is more likely.
Well sure. In theory it would be great if every place was as safe as every other place.
People should be prepared to defend themselves, but if the safety of one's family is a very high priority, we have to deal in reality and realize that no matter how well armed and trained we are, some places are more dangerous than others. It's just fact and always will be.
It is proper for each person to decide what is best for their family, but if that decision ignores the fact that living in a known narco-terrorist war zone, it cannot be a sound decision. We are not talking about whether Carmel is safer than Fishers. We are talking about a place where narco-gangs regularly kill each other and anyone who gets in their way and there is little to no justice after the fact. Obviously, all of Mexico is not like this, but this specific place was.
I didn't want to get into it, but there was a reason why these people are living where they live, as alluded to above.
