This is not a place for discussion about RDS vs iron sights. My 67 year old eyes already made the decision for me. :)

    I found this RDS intriguing.
One reason is: Hi-Lux gives a healthy veteran’s discount.

Does anyone here have experience with this particular red dot?

    Thanks in advance.

So…. I bought one of these. Mounted it up on my P80 CL and just got back from the range.
50,000 hrs battery life but mainly because it shuts completely off after 4 hours of no use. Not crazy about that and I change my batteries once a year anyway.
It literally took less than a 10 shots to sight in at 20 yards.
When I moved to 7 yards, the dot was about an inch low. Perfect!
The adjustment "turrets"/screws have positive clicks/detents and are consistent on how the sight moves the bullet on the target.
    Great discount for veterans too.

That looks a aweful lot like a Holosun 507C to me, right down the the battery tray, mounting pattern, windage and elevation adjustments and even the steps in the aluminum where the emitter is set.
