I think Bidet is stupid enough to listen to his radical handlers and try to take too big of a bite out of American freedom. His handlers will probably try for that big bite because they are not the visible ones - Roaches Joe is the visible one and they don't care about him.

If they do get carried away and try for too big of a bite it will go to the courts in the DOJ and then it could go to the court of the American public.

I still don’t understand how an order signed by the executive branch can seriously have any freedom stripping teeth. So let’s say one breaks an “order” signed by the president.

He get arrested for going against the presidents idea of an order ? Your booked into jail for “president order violation” ? No IC code listed ? Or USC mentioned ?

How can the person go before a judge or jury and be sentenced for a “crime” that is not signed by a legislative body ?

Can someone out there break this down like a fraction for me please ?

So what’s it going to be, folks? Is he going to ban imported ammo? How about magazines over a certain capacity? How about universal background checks? How about so-called “assault weapons”? What others can you think of he might try to pull off?

I still despise Trump four directing ATF to re-classify bump stocks. But I’ve got lots of hate left in me for Biden and even more fight for what is to come.
At the risk of being unpopular, other than demonstrating good ingenuity, what practical purpose does a bump stock serve?

What practical purpose does a corvette serve? what practical purpose does drinking alcohol serve? What practical purpose does an appendix have?
All can be dangerous. Let's ban them and require they be removed from our persons.

Practical or otherwise doesn't matter. It's an accessory, a piece of plastic that doesn't change the fundamental function of the firearm. Attempting to ban it has provided leverage to Blue team who will gladly use the precedent to ban other pieces of plastic and metal that also don't change the fundamental function of the weapon. Trump used the same logic you are and now Blue team will be more than glad to carry that torch forward.

It's not necessarily an individual who will be charged with a crime related to an executive order or action, it's the weight of the government being used as a club against anyone who tries to carry on as if it's business as usual.

Here's what I envision the plan to be for "ghost guns." The executive action is basically telling the ATF to find a way to either change the definition of a firearm or issue opinion letters saying they consider any 80% build kit to be a firearm that requires a transfer to an FFL. If major manufactures and distributors want to keep making and selling these kits, the implication is that they need to send through an FFL now rather than shipping directly to the consumer. If they don't, and continue to ship direct, the ATF is going to come in, open an investigation and completely disrupt the business. There is technically nothing stopping the government from doing that until they do it to an individual or entity with the resources and willingness to take the feds to court over it.

It won't stop people from forging or 3D printing 80% lowers in their garages, but it might make companies like Poly 80, Brownells and all the major distributors evaluate whether they want to be the one to spend the time and money to smack down the feds.

It's basically a mafia style shakedown. Instead of 'pay us protection or your business burns down' it's, 'do what we say or we'll crush you with the weight of our unchecked federal power.'

Someone gave one answer above, I'll give a similar one here. President issues and executive order (more likely and executive action but potato potato) telling the BATFECES to look back into or "circle back to" pistol braces, they do and decide they are not just a brace but a stock. Now anyone who has one on a pistol with less than a 16" barrel is in possession of an unregistered and untaxed short barrel rifle. Pretty much the same thing that happened with bumpstocks.

For 80% lowers similar, BATFECES decides they made a mistake that an 80% lower is "readily convertible" to be able to be turned into a firearm. Don't think it would effect the current owners of them but it might, I don't think that if an FFL transfers a firearm without doing the necessary paperwork and such it fall on the consumer but. :dunno: At the very least they could decide that a 50% lower is what is required without it being "readily convertible". Worse they can decide that the manufactures are unlicensed FFLs and prosecute them for at least that. Worst case again:dunno:.

Those are two I can think of off the top of my head, I'm sure if you would like I could come up with others.

Man if there is one phrase I hate it is speak truth to power. The second I hear that I unhear everything they just said.
What the hell does that even mean.
I dont know why but it like nails on a chalkboard to me.
    Speak truth to power augggg:runaway:
The phrase is lifted directly from Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals. That shows how pervasive socialist activism has become; it has entered the mainstream and is now commonly accepted as being a sole legitimate purpose and justification for violent action.
