    I've appraised at least a couple dozen funeral homes over the years and never saw one with any significant refrigerated storage capacity. Like at most a restaurant sized walk in cooler. I can only imagine what it must have been like inside.
    Last year or year before there was a story out of NYC about someone noticing “fluid” leaking out of the cargo box of a UHaul truck parked outside a funeral home. Turns out the FH fell behind in processing bodies and their refrigerated storage filled up, so the rented some reefer trucks. Then those filled up but they couldn't find more so they started renting UHauls.

    I’ll bet the cleaning charge was substantial.
