    Can anyone let me know what I've got here? Bought at a garage sale, seller didn't have much info except that it's a cut down bayonet

    It could have been used on an M1. I think it's a model 1905, originally made for the Model 1903 rifle. It was made by Union Fork and Hoe (UFH). Some of these were cut down to 10" and used for the M1 in WWII.

    Thats why I posted its a 03 cut down, if you look at the pictures the blood groove goes to the end of the blade.
